The Ride
Two days, three great routes - fully supported and fully celebrated!
What makes this ride truly special, is that you will have the opportunity to ride with the wounded heroes who have benefited from the work that Yellow Ribbon Fund does in the veteran community.
DAY 1
RIDE: The ride start will be on the campus grounds of Mount St. Mary's University near Emmitsburg, Maryland. You'll have your choice of a 25, 35 or 50 mile route through scenic farmland, the Catoctin Mountains and Gettysburg Battlegrounds. Your ride ends at the Eisenhower Hotel and Conference Center in Gettysburg. BY POPULAR DEMAND, we've added an Unofficial 12-Mile Ride this year for those who arrive at the first rest stop, hear the music, smell the cold beer and call it a day!
CELEBRATE: Celebrate your accomplishment with your fellow riders and veterans at the Rockin' Riders Festival on Saturday night. The festival will feature food, drink, live bands and a finisher's ceremony. Friends and family are welcome! (please see Rider's Festival for information)
SLEEP: Accommodations at the Eisenhower Inn are included in your registration fee.
DAY 2
RIDE: There will be a complimentary hot breakfast available on Sunday morning. And, just in case you rocked a little too hard at the festival, we've got an an easy-peasy 24-mile route to get you back to your car (you're welcome!). Your bags will be waiting for you! (if you're just not feeling it, there will be a shuttle available to take you and your bike back to your car)
